Each year, college students go travel to fun destinations either over Spring Break or at some point in the year. These trips can lead to college students making bad decisions and may experience injuries, sexual assault, or legal issues. Providing educational information to students prevents and reduces the risks involved with risky or unsafe behaviors.

The Travel Safe event is designed to educate students on how to be safe in topics such as travel, sexual health, alcohol and sun exposure. The Health Center at Auraria and additional campus organizations provide the tools addressing these topics for students to have the opportunity to learn and obtain the resources. Auraria students will learn how to avoid high-risk behaviors and make responsible choices.

On March 15th from 10:30am-1:30pm in Tivoli Commons. The Health Center at Auraria is calling all students to get a passport to health and safety, connect with free resources, and depart with a root beer float.
