Not So Sufferin’ Sapphos host dj Dénouement aka Dayna L Himot on the prowl at Denver Comic Con with a lil’ cosplay fun. Dénouement is producing a series of snippets from her three days at DCC. The host spoke with everyone from Ariel as in “under the sea”,  to a Disney princess Hogwarts house cosplay fusion group in search of the Weasley Twins at #DCC2017

Dénouement at Burning Man 2015

Dayna L. Himot aka Dénouement is Met Radio Denver’s resident house and techno DJ, host of The Not So Sufferin’ Sapphos and  a staff writer at Metrosphere arts, literature and culture magazine. Currently living in Colorado, she is product of the late eighties and early nineties underground club scene, she considers herself a die hard New Englander. In reality she prides herself in the cultural climate of wherever she is. Her passion for social documentation via sound, prose, and experience was spurred at a young age. The mother of two teenage boys, she now is a junior at MSU Denver minoring in French with a concentration in social documentary journalism. 2017 will mark her third year at Burning Man. Most recently she was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists for her award winning nonfiction article “Bringing Back Burning Man,” featuring the story of “The Awesome Sweater.”
