Williams released Friday, Coach Clark suspended Saturday.
Despite the seemingly close proximity the athletic department says the two incidents are not related, but Coach Clark’s suspension will last for three games with the first being last Saturday’s match up against the Westminster griffins.
Details on Coach Clark’s suspension are sparse, however, athletic director Anthony Grant released a statement saying it was not a legal matter but a personnel matter and that further details would not be discussed.
The announcement of the suspension comes nearly 2 years after Clark’s DUI arrest
