The Metro men’s cross country team placed fifth at the NCAA Central Region Championships Nov. 20, while the women’s team placed 11th in Wayne, Neb. The fifth place finish qualified the men for the NCAA National Championships for the third consecutive year.
The Metro men’s cross country team won their first tournament in team history, while the women’s team took second overall at the inaugural Metro State Invitational Oct. 16 at Washington Park.
